Leilani (aka Bodalla Lil Blackonyx) was the first to arrive, she was born in Australia on 6/30/01 and came to us when she was 8 weeks old. Her breeder is Margaret Burgoine of Bodalla kennels. Leilani is a true clown, super affectionate, and a born athlete. Leilani and I have a bond that is very special, and she is responsible for my falling completely in love with this breed. She is either laying at my feet or snuggled up next to me at every chance she gets.
Leilani is a champion "hucklebutter", and can spring from a standstill to heights of 4 or 5 feet off the ground. She also loves to lick and bite ears, build nests in the covers, and slither on her belly in the grass. These are all typical bully traits, they are very quirky but this is what makes them so much fun.
Leilani had one litter, sired by Ch. Bonsai Moondancer, and produced 4 puppies: Mason, Rufus, Freya and Ellie, who can be seen on our "Boys" and "Girls" pages. Leilani is now spayed, and is still very healthy and energetic, and as always, a much loved family member.
